Awhile back, I saw this headline and was intrigued. We all know libraries are a place where you can borrow books, but did you know that the Sussex County Library System has a whole “Library of Things” that you can use! Their catalog has a list of 62 “things” that you can try before you buy. Or do you have a special event or party and don’t want to invest in purchasing a game or activity? Here’s just a sample of what you can borrow:

· Car DVD player – for those long road trips

· iPad – new to this technology?

· Bocce Ball Set – having a party

· So many different baking, cake pans – who has the room at home to store all the different options and novelty shapes

· Metal detector – fun activity and you never know what you’ll find

· Giant inflatable movie screen – enough said!

So, visit your local branch of the Sussex County Library System and remember they have a lot more than just books!
