An alert will be issued when:<\/p>\n\n<p>\u00b7 Temperatures will reach 25 degrees Fahrenheit or lower without precipitation or 32 degrees Fahrenheit or lower with precipitation; or<br \/>\n\u00b7 The National Weather Service windchill temperature will be zero degrees Fahrenheit or less for a period of two hours or more.<br \/>\n\u00b7 Code Blue Alerts are declared 24-48 hours prior to onset of qualifying weather conditions whenever possible. Weather forecasts may change with little notice, in which case the alert will be issued as quickly as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n<p>Below is a list of Warming Centers for Sussex County. Residents can also call 211 after 4:30 for assistance. Let\u2019s all do our part in helping our neighbors be comfortable and safe, especially in the colder months.
