OUR HISTORY<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Family Promise of Sussex County has been serving the community for 25 years.\u00a0 At its inception, our agency was a grassroots effort to address homelessness in our county and has blossomed into a full spectrum of services to aid those experiencing a housing crisis.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2023, Family Promise of Sussex County was able to assist 1315 individuals from 863 households!\u00a0 The mission of Family Promise of Sussex County is to secure housing stability and sustainability for those in crisis\u2026 because everyone deserves a home.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our approach involves both prevention services for individuals and families in danger of losing their homes, and shelter and rehousing services for those already experiencing homelessness.<\/span><\/p>\n

In recent years, we have expanded the resources available to include Emergency Shelter, Opening Doors: Men\u2019s Day Program, Intensive Case Management Services, Employment and Careering Counseling, Homelessness Prevention, Rapid Rehousing, Shelter Diversion, and Permanent Supportive Housing Programs.<\/span><\/p>\n
